President Bola Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, after ending his vacation earlier than scheduled, the Presidency has announced.
Tinubu, who left Nigeria on September 4 for France as part of his annual holiday, was originally scheduled to spend part of the break in both France and the United Kingdom.
While in Paris last week, the President held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and agreed to strengthen cooperation in key areas to boost prosperity and enhance global stability.
The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the President’s early return in a statement on Monday, saying Tinubu will resume official duties immediately upon arrival in Abuja.
