Social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), and comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, widely called Mr Jollof, were involved in a physical altercation aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos.

The incident came to light after Facebook user Dr. Paul Ezikel shared a video on Monday morning showing the heated confrontation between the two outspoken entertainers.

VDM and Mr Jollof have a long history of online hostility, with tensions escalating months ago when VDM accused the comedian’s wife of inappropriate relationships — a claim that triggered a prolonged feud on social media.

VDM later confirmed the in-flight scuffle in a video on his Facebook page, boasting that he overpowered Mr Jollof during the fight.

“I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me — man wey dey bite,” he said, displaying what appeared to be bite marks.

The cause of the latest confrontation remains unclear, but eyewitnesses say the disagreement quickly escalated into a physical fight before cabin crew intervened.
