Hon. Rasheed Kashamu, a leading House of Representatives aspirant for the Ijebu North/Ijebu East/Ogun Waterside Federal Constituency, has intensified his grassroots consultations with a strategic visit to party leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu East Local Government Area.

The engagement, coming shortly after a similar outreach in Ogun Waterside, underscores Kashamu’s ongoing efforts to build strong alliances and deepen stakeholder engagement across the constituency as political activities ahead of 2027 gather momentum.

Speaking during the meeting, Kashamu stressed the need for unity, inclusiveness, and collective responsibility within the party, noting that meaningful development can only be achieved through collaboration among leaders at all levels.

“This engagement is about strengthening our shared commitment to the people,” he said. “Our party’s strength lies in our unity and our ability to work together towards a common goal. I am here to listen, learn, and foster stronger relationships that will translate into real progress for our communities.”

He also highlighted his legislative experience in the Ogun State House of Assembly, pointing to his advocacy for people-focused policies and his accessibility to constituents. According to him, these values will guide his ambition to deliver broader representation at the federal level.

The meeting was attended by key party figures, including the APC Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Otunba Adebayo Balogun Adedibu; the Acting State Secretary of the party, Hon. Rasaki Oladele Ogunde; and the Chairman of Chairmen in the local government, Mr. Obisanya Segun, alongside other stakeholders.

Party leaders commended Kashamu’s consultative approach and humility, describing the early engagements as a positive step toward strengthening party unity and improving electoral prospects in the constituency.

Observers view the Ijebu East meeting as another significant milestone in Kashamu’s expanding grassroots movement, which continues to gain traction across the federal constituency.
