Uzodimma appoints Olisa Metuh, Banire, 14 other directors for Renewed Hope Ambassadors

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has approved the appointment of 16 directors to head various directorates of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), as part of efforts to enhance the organisation’s effectiveness nationwide.

Uzodimma, who serves as the Director General and National Coordinator of the RHA, announced the appointments in a statement on Friday, noting that the move is aimed at strengthening the structure and operations of the group ahead of future political engagements.

The RHA was designed in November 2025 by President Bola Tinubu as a strategic platform to communicate the policies, programmes and achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country, particularly in the lead-up to the 2027 general elections.

The organisation’s leadership includes the Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani, as Deputy Director General; the Governor of Gombe State, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, as Secretary; and James Abiodun Faleke as Deputy Secretary.

According to the statement, the RHA structure comprises six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators and 774 local government coordinators, reflecting its extensive national reach.

The newly appointed directors and their respective portfolios are: Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi (Youth); Chief Olisa Metuh (Organisation and Mobilisation); Tunde Rahman (Media and Publicity); Sunday Dare (Digital and New Media); Mele Kolo Geidam (Finance); Muiz Banire (Monitoring, Compliance and Legal); Bisoye Coker-Odusote (Technology and Data); and Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar (Support Groups).

Others include Ibrahim Garba (Intelligence); Senator Sani Musa (Special Duties); Hon. Simon Karu (Planning); Dr. Halima Suleiman Zakari (Welfare); Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri (Administration); Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika (Women Affairs); Abike Dabiri (Diaspora); and Hadiza Bala Usman (Research and Innovation).
