Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal command, on Friday, arrested 44 suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The suspects were arrested at Apete and Bodija areas of Ibadan following actionable intelligence on their fraudulent cyber activities.

The suspected cyber fraudsters are as follows:-

Items recovered from the suspects include ten (10) exotic cars, two (2) motorcycles, fifty-three (53) mobile phones, four (4) laptops, one (1) JBL speaker, one (1) PS game, two (2) game pads, among others.

In a statement on Friday, the anti-graft agency said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
