President Bola Tinubu has cut the number of persons that can join him in a foreign trip to 20.
It is not clear if there was a specific number during previous trips, but with this development, many who used to join the president will no longer make it.
Also, the president the delegation of that of the Vice president to five, the first lady was cut to five too.
This was contained in a statement from the presidency on Tuesday.
The development is not unconnected with the scandal which broke out in the ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
The now suspended Minister, Dr Betty Edu was accused of excessive expenditure for local trips.
