The decomposing body of Hon Justice Azuka, member of the Anambra State House of Assembly representing Onitsha North Constituency 1 has been found.

The body was discovered by the combined Security team at 2nd Niger Bridge on Wednesday night.

The suspects who kidnapped and killed him have also been arrested.

Reports say that it was when the kidnappers were arrested that they took the security officials to where they dumped the body.

Hon Azuka was kidnapped on December 24, 2024 along Ugwunabakpa road Inland town, Onitsha.

This killing underscores the prevailing insecurity in Anambra State. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its affiliates have been blamed for the insecurity.

On Tuesday night it was reported that kidnappers had a field day along Awka road, Onitsha and fired several gunshots.
