The National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) and the Nigeria Incentive-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending (NIRSAL), on Friday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic partnership and cooperation.
The Executive Secretary/CEO of NALDA, Engr. Cornelius Adebayo signed on behalf of the agency alongside the Managing Director of NIRSAL, Sa’ad Hamidu.
The partnership entails the two organisations leveraging on their expertise in the areas of land cultivation and financing, with a view to boosting the agricultural sector in line with the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The full activation of the MoU will be a win-win for NALDA, NIRSAL, big private sector in the agricultural sector and its value chain, farmers and Nigeria.
