Rivers State Administrator, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete Ekwe Ibas (rtd), has assured that the State Assembly Complex project will be completed as scheduled.

Ibas gave the assurance during an inspection visit to the project site in Port Harcourt, where he urged the contractor, Monier Construction Company (MCC) Limited, to speed up work.

The project, which includes a two-storey building with 34 en-suite offices, elevator, gallery, meeting rooms, and conference hall, is expected to be completed within six months.

Ibas emphasized that his administration is committed to restoring full and effective legislative activities in the state.

The Administrator was accompanied by the Head of Rivers State Civil Service, Dr. George Nwaeke, and was conducted around the site by the General Manager of MCC, Engr. Omaka Oko.
