‘Safety, welfare of citizens my priority’ -Tinubu pledges during prayers to mark 73rd birthday

President Bola Tinubu has reaffirmed his commitment to working tirelessly for the peace and stability of Nigeria.

Speaking after a special Juma’ah prayer session at the National Mosque in Abuja, the President expressed gratitude to God for granting him another year of life as he marks his 73rd birthday on March 29.

Tinubu emphasized that the safety and welfare of citizens remain his top priority, and he will continue to pray for the nation’s stability and peace.

He also urged Nigerians to adopt the mantra of “hard work and hard prayers” to achieve their goals.

The President’s remarks were echoed by Dr. Abdulkadir Salman Solagberu, who led the special prayers for the nation and the President.

Dr. Solagberu assured President Tinubu of continued prayers for his good health, strength, and wisdom to steer the nation’s affairs.

The Imam of the National Mosque, Prof. Muhammad Kabir Adam, thanked the President and his wife, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, for their kindness to the poor and needy during Ramadan.

He urged Muslims to sustain their prayers for the President, the nation, and the less privileged beyond Ramadan.

The Juma’ah prayer session was attended by Vice President Sen. Kashim Shettima, Deputy Senate President Sen. Barau Jibrin, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, ministers, Service Chiefs, and members of the President’s family.
