Lagos socialite Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money, has been released from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) custody after hours of interrogation.

Allegations
E-Money was arrested on Monday night over alleged abuse of the Naira and defacing foreign currencies, specifically spraying United States dollars, which contravenes the Foreign Exchange Act.

Release and Reaction
Following his release on Tuesday evening, E-Money expressed gratitude and reassurance to his followers on Instagram, while fellow socialite Cubana Chief Priest celebrated the development.
