Trump slams UN, immigration policies in fiery General Assembly speech

U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a blistering address at the United Nations General Assembly, criticizing the UN itself, global migration policies, and Europe’s handling of climate change and security challenges.

In a nearly hour-long speech, Trump claimed credit for ending “seven wars in seven months,” including disputes between India and Pakistan, and Israel and Iran. He portrayed himself as a uniquely effective leader, insisting the U.S. was “doomed” before his return to power.

Trump dismissed globalist institutions as “ineffective and inefficient,” demanding sweeping reforms within the UN. He mocked Europe’s progressive ideals, accused the Mayor of London of incompetence, and argued that Europe is faltering in its support for Ukraine.

On the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Trump firmly rejected the idea of Palestinian statehood, calling it a “reward for Hamas.” He urged world leaders to press for the release of hostages held by the militant group.

Other key points from Trump’s speech included:

Biological Weapons: A call to permanently halt their development.

Energy: A boast that U.S. energy production is “thriving like never before.”

Trade: A warning that countries breaking trade rules will face U.S. tariffs.

Immigration: A demand for immediate deportation of migrants who violate laws.

Trump also hinted at his desire for recognition, suggesting he deserved the Nobel Prize “more than anyone.”

The address mixed sweeping self-praise with sharp attacks on global institutions, cementing Trump’s combative return to the world stage.
