The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed as false a report circulating in parts of the media claiming to reveal the price of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
In the report, presidential form was pegged at ₦200 million while governorship forms cost ₦150 million. The report had sparked outrage among commentators in the last 48 hours.

In a press statement issued on Saturday in Abuja, the party described the report as “fake and misleading,” stressing that it did not originate from the APC.
The party clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the sale or pricing of nomination forms for the 2027 elections.
“The report is a mere figment of the writer’s mischievous imagination,” the statement read.
The APC urged its members, media organisations, and the general public to disregard the information in its entirety.
The statement was signed by Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary.
