Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has set a new record as the first African artist to debut two songs on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart in a single calendar year.
Burna Boy achieved this feat after his song ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ debuted at No. 80 on this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart that was released on Tuesday. Industry watchers put this success on the release of his seventh studio album, ‘I Told Them.’

With two songs on the Hot 100 chart, Burna Boy has surpassed the previous record held by fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid, who had one song on the chart in 2017.
