The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has postponed the collation of results for its 2027 presidential primary election until 8pm today to allow Muslim members observe Eid-el-Kabir.
So far, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar is leading with 1,390,276 votes after emerging ahead in 22 states and the FCT. Rotimi Amaechi trails with 248,455 votes, while Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has secured 156,075 votes.
The exercise, however, has sparked controversy, with Amaechi and Hayatu-Deen rejecting the process over alleged irregularities and voter disenfranchisement.
