Former Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has disclosed that ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar is preparing to leave the Peoples Democratic Party ahead of the 2027 elections.

Okowa’s Comments
Okowa, who recently joined the All Progressives Congress, expressed regret for not aligning with his people in supporting a southern candidate in 2023 instead of accepting the role as Atiku’s running mate.

Communication with Atiku
Okowa revealed that he had communicated with Atiku about his decision to leave the PDP, stating that Atiku is also heading out of the party.
