Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). This confirms Newspread report earlier about the governor dumping the PDP.

The announcement was made after a closed-door meeting at the Government House in Asaba.
