The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced a major upward review of the cost of obtaining international passports, effective September 1, 2025.

Under the new tariff, a 32-page passport with five-year validity will now cost ₦100,000, up from the previous ₦26,000. Similarly, the 64-page passport with a 10-year validity will now be issued at ₦200,000.
