Diane Russet, an ex-housemate on one of the previous seasons of the Big Brother Naija show and a filmmaker, opted out of appearing in the All-Stars season, starting this month.
She revealed this while appearing on Kimoprah’s Hip TV show, Trending.
Newspread reported that the producers of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) have revealed that the All Stars season will feature chosen past housemates from Pepper Dem, Double Wahala, and See Gobe seasons – who will be competing for a N120 million prize.
Diane, who was one of Pepper Dem’s season housemates, stated that she isn’t interested in returning to the Big Brother House and emphasised that she doesn’t consider herself to be much of a reality star.
The now-filmmaker admitted that she would rather want to work with the reality show’s production team.
During the interview, Kimoprah asked her if All Stars were to ever air again, would she be willing to participate again, and if so, why?
To which Diane answered: “No.” Why? For me? Oh! Goodness me! This question, Kim.”
She added that she is trying to be diplomatic while her mind is doing the math. She would therefore say that speaking for herself, she would want to be a member of the production team so that she can learn and add value to herself.
However, she admitted that she does not necessarily believe that she is there yet. She also believes that some people are inherently born for reality TV.
