President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration will sustain ongoing economic reforms to deepen prosperity, inclusion, and empowerment across the country.
Speaking on Monday during a one-day official visit to Adamawa State, the President said the reforms were beginning to deliver tangible results nationwide, with visible improvements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure. He commended Governor Umaru Fintiri for what he described as effective governance and people-focused development.

Tinubu said improved economic management and sound policies had enabled higher allocations to states, allowing them to execute projects that directly impact livelihoods. He praised Adamawa’s investments in roads, schools, and justice infrastructure, noting that an eight-lane road, an underpass to ease traffic flow, and a modern high court complex would boost mobility, commerce, and the administration of justice.

The President urged state governments to channel more resources into poverty reduction, particularly by improving the quality of education for children. He also thanked traditional rulers and religious leaders for promoting peace and unity amid ongoing economic adjustments.

During the event in Yola, Tinubu praised the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, describing him as “honest, bold, courageous and committed,” and expressed confidence that Nigeria would defeat banditry and terrorism under his leadership.

In his remarks, Governor Fintiri thanked the President for visiting the state to commission key projects, including 21 model schools across the local government areas, expanded road networks with bridges and underpasses, remodelled high court complexes, and a new government house office complex. He also pledged the continued support of Adamawa State for the President’s reform agenda.
The event was attended by governors Agbu Keffas, Babagana Zulum, Caleb Muftwang, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, and Mai Mala Buni, alongside ministers and other senior government officials.
