A fresh rift has emerged within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as National Chairman Umar Damagum has criticized National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba for releasing a statement claiming the Supreme Court recognized Udeh Okoye as the party’s National Secretary.

In a statement issued by the PDP’s Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Damagum countered that the Supreme Court actually described Udeh Okoye as an impostor.

Damagum expressed concern that Ologunagba has been taking extreme and contradictory opinions, undermining the authority of the National Working Committee (NWC).
