Following the verification of her feat as the new record holder for the longest cooking hours by an individual, Chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has received praises and congratulations from Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) flagbearer.

Newspread reported that Hilda was officially recognised by Guinness World Records as the new holder of the record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual on Tuesday.

In response to the news, Peter Obi tweeted that Hilda had “carved her name in the golden books of history” and that she has done a great deal to elevate the country.

He also added that Hilda has now motivated millions of people around the world.
