Vice President Kashim Shettima has met with the former First Lady and widow of former President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha in London, United Kingdom.

His husband died on Sunday while battling an illness reported to be leukemia.

In the room were other members of the family including Mrs Buhari’s grieving children.

The VP alongside the chief of staff to the president, Femi Gbajabiamila equally met Buhari’s older nephew and mentor, Mamman Daura, other family members and close associates.

Newspread had reported that the former president’s remains will be brought back to Nigeria on Thursday for burial in Daura, Katsina state.
