A group of lawmakers from Rivers State in the National Assembly has pledged their support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

The lawmakers, comprising two senators and seven members of the House of Representatives, cited the success of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda as the reason for their endorsement.

Praise for Tinubu’s Policies
The lawmakers praised Tinubu’s economic policies, noting that they are targeted at repositioning Nigeria’s economy.

They also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his exceptional performance.

Call for Other Politicians to Stand Down
The lawmakers urged other politicians with presidential ambitions to shelve their plans, arguing that Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda offers the clearest path to Nigeria’s prosperity and progress.
