A 13-year-old boy has admitted to have caused the death of a grandmother, Marcia Grant, by running over her with her own car.
UK’s Daily Mail reports that he told the police “looks like I’ve got my first kill” as he admitted causing her death by dangerous driving.
Justice May, in a court hearing on Tuesday, said the boy will be sentenced on December 1.
She was killed when her silver Honda Accord was reversed out of her drive and across the main road, striking her as it did so.
The tragedy reportedly happened as Grant was trying to stop the boy from taking her car.
The youngster, who was 12 at the time of the incident in April, was arrested in suspicion of the murder after the 60-year-old social worker, who was run over by own car and killed outside the home where she cared for foster children in Sheffield, England.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said the woman suffered serious injuries and died at the scene.
He added that the boy was located a short time later and arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a bladed article.
