A yet-to-be identified air traveller was carried off an Ibom Air aircraft over his chants in the plane that President-elect Bola Tinubu should not be being sworn in next month.
The protester was squeezed through the rowdy aisle and taken into custody by Lagos airport officials. The Friday flight was Abuja bound.
In the video obtained by Newspread, he is heard saying “Tinubu cannot be sworn in”. Then in another clip where he is being taken out, he’s heard shouting “Obidients you’re here. They are doing this to me. Obidients you’re here, I am naked. Obidients you’re here, I am going naked.”
His action delayed the 6 PM flight for an extra hour.
Newspread learnt that the man said many unprintable things and tried to energize some supporters of his preferred presidential candidate, Peter Obi to join the protest.
But most passengers insisted that he must be taken off the plane and questioned.
