Night Zhanelo, a Zimbabwean watch man, allegedly caught fondling another man’s wife along crowhill road has been stoned by the woman’s husband and his cohorts.

The assault left the watchman fighting for his life as he fell unconcious and was admitted at ward b9 at parirenyatwa hospital.

Zhanelo who found himself in the hospital after he regained consciousness said he only offered assistance to woman because she was going his direction but looking very sad.

Speaking to H-Metro, a local news outlet on
Monday, he denied dating the woman saying the womans husband was too quick to suspect them and act on his suspicion.

The recuperating watchman narrated:

“I was walking along the road when I saw the woman looking very sad. I approached her to enquire what was troubling her since we were walking in the same direction.

“She told me that she was facing problems with her husband.

“I only consoled her and told her to seek counselling or find a way to solve her marital problems.”

Meanwhile, the woman’s husband who refused to be named insist he saw Zhanelo fondling his wife, hence his reaction.
