Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has criticized Atiku Abubakar, former presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2023, saying he doesn’t keep to his words.

Speaking during a media chat in Abuja, Wike reiterated that his decision to support President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general election was the right call.

Wike’s Grievances with Atiku
Wike cited a 2019 agreement between him, Atiku, Bukola Saraki, and Uche Secondus, which he claimed Atiku failed to honour. “Atiku does not keep to his words,” Wike said. “When we lost the election, the man who was supposed to be the attorney-general did not know when the legal team was constituted.”

Wike’s Confidence in His Decision
The FCT minister expressed confidence that he made the right decision in supporting Tinubu, saying, “It was very clear that I made the right decision and you can’t see me now saying I will support him for president? How?”
