Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan dies following health struggles

Witnesses have reported that American WWE legend Hulk Hogan was carried out on a stretcher, but unfortunately, he did not survive. Hogan’s death comes just two days after his manager, Jimmy Hart, claimed the star was “doing phenomenal” amidst concerning health rumors, stating that Hogan had even participated in karaoke earlier this week.

Hogan’s wife, Sky, recently denied rumors that he was in a coma following neck surgery. However, the family of the transformative performer has yet to officially confirm his passing. He is survived by his wife and two children, Brooke and Nick Hogan.

Born in Augusta, Georgia, on August 11, 1953, Hogan grew up in Tampa and rose to national prominence in the 1980s with his flamboyant “Hulkamania” persona, which played a pivotal role in transforming WWE, then known as WWF, into an entertainment powerhouse.

Hogan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005 but was removed a decade later due to controversial remarks made during a secretly recorded encounter. He subsequently sued Gawker for releasing the footage and won the lawsuit, leading to his reinstatement into the Hall of Fame in 2020.
