22-year-old woman dies during buttock enhancement procedure

A 22-year-old Mika Shabasova, who was having her buttocks enhanced by an ‘unqualified’ beautician who was also her ‘friend’, has been confirmed dead.

Reports from Daily Mail indicated that Shabasova passed away 10 minutes after she was injected with a local anaesthesia during the surgery.

Meanwhile, the untimely death of 22-year-old Shabasova is being looked into by the Russian police.

According to reports, the beautician performed the £154 operation after she completed a “two-week course”, and before an ambulance could get to Uma M’s “home surgery”, who is currently under house arrest, Mika had already passed away.

She admitted to repeatedly using the local anaesthetic known as ‘lidocaine’ to repeatedly numb the victim’s skin when speaking with state authorities in Makhachkala.

112 media site said a forensic medical examination will be used to determine the cause of death.

A friend of the deceased noted that he had advised Shabasova against getting the buttocks enlargement procedure that Uma M had advertised.

He claimed that the beautician who was scheduled to carry out the procedure had just recently obtained a qualification.

He disclosed that just before Uma became a cosmetologist after finishing a two-week course, she was doing lash extensions.

The friend claimed that Mika only went to her out of complete trust because Uma is her friend, stating that she had a fever three days before the procedure and was off work.

Mika also shared an apartment with three other girls, and they all made an effort to talk her out of seeing this beautician.

He asserted that when everyone was home, the woman quietly left the house, called a taxi, and went for the surgery.

She had already undergone surgeries for her lips, nose, and chin, the friend continued. These were done under various anaesthetics. But she was gone within only 15 minutes. He also claimed that police questioned her friends.

Uma, the beautician, admitted to repeatedly using the local anaesthetic lidocaine to repeatedly numb the victim’s flesh when speaking with state authorities in Makhachkala.

The Russian Investigative Committee has also confirmed the incident.
