The recent crisis rocking the homefront of popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor aka Mr. Ibu is not showing any sign of ceasing as recent reports have revealed that Stella Maris, the actor’s wife has had his adopted daughter, Jasmine, and sons arrested concerning the purported disappearance of funds raised for his medical care.

The latest event came to light when actress Doris Ogala, revealed on her Instagram page on Thursday that Mr Ibu’s kids are currently being held at the Alagbon police station in Lagos.

Ogala had alleged that Stella Maris accused Jasmine and her stepbrothers of withdrawing 300 million naira from the dedicated account for Mr. Ibu’s donations.

She further alleged that the wife of the Nollywood star desire to use the amassed funds to purchase a new home for herself.

“Jasmine and Ibu’s sons were arrested at Alagbon Police Station. They are detained there. Ibu’s wife alleged that Jasmine moved 300 million out of the account Ibu’s wife allegedly wanted them to buy her new house from the money contributed so far for Ibu’s treatments.

“That’s why she arrested Jasmine. But investigation states that the money contributed isn’t even up to 300 million” Ogala wrote on her social media handle.
