EFCC declares Atiku’s son-in-law Bashir Haske wanted

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a wanted notice for Bashir Haske, a businessman and son-in-law of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, as part of an investigation into allegations of criminal conspiracy and money laundering.

In a public notice released by EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, the agency urged citizens to assist in locating Haske, who is now 38 years old and was last known to reside at two locations in Lagos State: No. 6 Mosley Road, Ikoyi, and 952/953 Idejo Street, Victoria Island.

“The public is hereby notified that Abdullahi Bashir Haske… is wanted by the EFCC in an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering,” the statement confirmed.

The EFCC is calling on members of the public to provide any relevant information that could facilitate Haske’s arrest. Reports can be made to any EFCC office across Nigeria, including those in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja. Additionally, tips can be submitted via the commission’s dedicated telephone line and email address.
