In a shift of plans, President Bola Tinubu has postponed his trip to Iperu, Ogun State, initially scheduled for Thursday to launch operations at the Gateway International Cargo Airport. Instead, he will travel to Jos, the capital of Plateau State, to express condolences over recent gun attacks that resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
Following his visit to Plateau, the President will head to Lagos to observe Good Friday. On Saturday, April 4, he will visit Ogun State for the commissioning of the Cargo Airport and the inauguration of two commercial aircraft intended to enhance the state’s economic growth. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Federal Operations Unit of the Nigerian Customs Service and its operational vehicles.
After his engagements in Ogun, President Tinubu will return to Lagos to continue the Easter holiday, during which he will also commission several infrastructure projects, including the Ojota/Opebi Link Bridge and a new school complex.
On April 10, he is set to visit Bayelsa State to inaugurate completed projects by Governor Duoye Diri.
