Easter: Araraume urges sacrifice, hope, prays for Tinubu

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Patrick Ararume, has called on Nigerians to embrace sacrifice, forgiveness, and renewed hope as Christians celebrate Easter across the country and the world.

In an Easter message he personally signed, Araraume described the resurrection of Jesus Christ as a powerful symbol of triumph over adversity and a reminder that difficult times are temporary.

According to him, Easter represents a divine assurance that “no night lasts forever,” adding that just as Christ rose on the third day, Nigeria will overcome its present challenges and attain its destined greatness.

“Easter is not merely a festival; it is a spiritual declaration that darkness does not have the final word. As Christ rose triumphantly on the third day, I believe Nigeria, too, is rising from every challenge to meet her God-ordained destiny,” he said.

The former Imo State governorship candidate also offered prayers for President President Bola Tinubu, describing him as a courageous leader navigating the country through challenging but necessary reforms.

Araraume prayed for divine wisdom, strength, and protection for the President, expressing hope that his leadership would yield lasting benefits for future generations.

He further commended Tinubu’s administration for what he described as bold and far-reaching reforms, acknowledging that while such policies may require present sacrifices, they are essential for long-term peace, stability, and shared prosperity.

“Mr. President has shown that he has the heart of a reformer and the backbone of a statesman. These are not easy times, but great nations are forged in the furnace of difficult decisions,” he added, urging Nigerians to support the government with patience and prayers.

The APC chieftain also encouraged citizens to embody the spirit of Easter by showing love and compassion to others, particularly the less privileged, grieving, and displaced.

He called on Nigerians to extend acts of kindness such as feeding the hungry, supporting orphanages, and helping those in distress, noting that such gestures reflect the true essence of the season.

Araraume concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful, joyful, and spiritually fulfilling Easter celebration.
