Martin Lawrence finally honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Delayed but not denied perfectly sums up this monumental occasion for Martin Lawrence.

Over 30 years after his steady rise and dedication in the TV/film industry, 58-year-old actor, Lawrence, finally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Many of his fan had cried that the honor was long overdue for the award winning comedian/actor but his reply on Friday when he received this latest award was” It’s better late than never. This means the world to me, and I’m so honoured. I feel so blessed. I know that I’m blessed. I’m grateful to God, and I’m grateful to my fans, my family, my friends, and everybody that just supported and showed me love,” Lawrence revealed.

All through his career, Lawrence made Box office hits. He had huge successes in movies like Big Momma’s House, Bad Boys franchise, House Party and many more.

“If I can pass one thing on to those coming after me, it would be to board your dream bus with confidence, grace and humility and ride it until the wheels fall off!” He said.
