Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has rewarded some outstanding public servants in the state with a surprise package of N25 million and cars.

The reward was given to boost the morale of public servants in the state and to appreciate their hard work and dedication to service.

At Year 2023 Special Luncheon of Outstanding Public Servants, the reward was given to 10 civil servants, with five of them in the junior cadre receiving N5 million cash prize each and a new car, while the other five received N5 million cash prize each.

The governor said the recognition underscores the staff’s commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of his government’s policies and programs and he would continue to show commitment to the needs and prioritize the welfare of workforce for increase productivity

Initially, a total of 156 public servants were shortlisted for the awards in both categories. However, at the event, through a raffle, the ten winners were picked.
