For those thinking that Emmanuel Myam, the 20-year-old from Benue State, who is currently riding a bicycle to Lagos to meet his idol, Davido is wasting his time, well, he might just not, as the music star has asked the determined youth to forward his account details to him.

Recall that last night after the news went viral that he had embarked on the trip, Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, strongly advised him to turn back home that he is currently not in the country.

In his words, Myam replied: “Am not going back Boss I must present my gift to you @davido Benin state heading to Ogun any moment from now…”

Myam also known as Emmiwuks, started his journey on Wednesday, August 2 and has been riding for 9 days so far. He is currently a little after Benin City, Edo State, heading to Lagos.

Seeing his determination, Davido tweeted on Friday : “U no wan hear… Oya send account … then u can do ur great journey when I’m back ❤️.”

Myam who says he is a huge fan of Davido and has been wanting to meet him for a long time, decided to ride his bicycle to Lagos as a way to show his dedication to his idol. He is also hoping to raise awareness about the need for better infrastructure in Nigeria.

Myan has admitted that his journey has been challenging so far. He said he has had to deal with bad roads, heat and rain. He has also had to overcome financial difficulties. However, he is determined to reach Lagos and meet Davido.
