The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) on behalf of the federal government on Monday delisted 37 illegal loan apps in Nigeria.
Recall that on August 1, 2023 the FCCPC asked Google to remove illegal apps operating without regulatory approval or in violation of the Limited Interim Regulatory/Registration Framework and Guidelines for Digital Lending, 2022 (Guidelines), from its play store.
Below are the list of the 37 newly delisted loan apps:

Notably, the FCCPC stated that the number of fully approved loan apps in the country is 164.
