A man has pleaded with a Makurdi Magistrate court to dissolve his marriage of 13 years.
Tersoo Yese told the court that he has taken this stand because his wife, Susan, already has plans to elope with her pastor lover.
Yese said: “My marriage from onset was characterised by crises, abuse, disobedience, misunderstanding, lies, manipulation, hate and rage.
“I married Susan in 2010 and we have four children. I have suffered a lot in the hands of the respondent and have been enduring.
“Susan indulges in extra-marital affairs and is fetish. Her plan is to join her lover, Apostle Emmanuel, who operates in the UK and Abuja.”
Yese further told the court that Susan had kept N500,000 from the money he gave her for general housekeeping and her plan is to spend it with her alleged lover. He also accused the duo of wanting to take along his four kids with them. An action he condemns and pleads to the court to grant him full custody; just as the court considers dissolving his marriage.
His wife on the other hand denied all allegations and said she does not support her husband’s desire to dissolve their marriage.
The Magistrate, Mrs Dooshima Ikpambes, advised the waring couple to try to settle their differences outside the courtroom; just as she adjourned the case to July 10.
