The Kano state Fire Service has announced the death of an 80-year-old man, Malam Rabiu popularly known as Na Allah Siraka who died in a Well at the Sabon Sara, Gidan Aminu Ado area, in Gwale Local Government Area(LGA) of the State.

In a statement released to pressmen by Alhaji Saminu Abdullahi, the Public Relations Officer of the state’s Fire Service, the incident happened on Sunday morning.

“We received an emergency call at about 11:00 a.m from one Hassan Abduallhi, that a man has been trapped inside a well.

“We immediately sent our rescue team to the scene at about 11:07 a.m. The fire service rescue team brought out Rabiu’s body out of the well dead and was handed over to Ward head of Sabon Sara, Alhaji Muhammad Salisu-Iman,’’ he said.

The spokesperson further informed that investigation is still going on to reveal the cause of the incident.
