Bem Matthew Korinya has allgedly stabbed his wife, Mngusunun to death in the Korinya community in Konshisha Local Government Area of Benue State.

The police spokesperson in the state, SP Catherine Anene, confirmed the incident on Wednesday morning but stated that the details were still sketchy and that she was waiting for the DPO of Konshisha to send in his report of the incident.

Anene, nevertheless, said she was told that the man had a disagreement with his wife on Tuesday and in the process used something like a knife to stab her which led to her death.

He is currently cooling his heels at the police station.
