The newly appointed acting Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode Egbetokun was on Tuesday, decorated by Vice President Kashim Shettima, at the State House, Abuja.

Expressing how he feels about the new feat, the Ag.IGP said:

“I will tell you that right now, I feel like a Tiger inside of me ready to chase away all the criminals in Nigeria. And some other time, I feel like a lion in me ready to devour all the internal enemies of Nigeria.”

Egbetokun was on Monday, appointed Acting Inspector General of Police by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who on the same date, announced the immediate retirement of all service chiefs and the immediate past IGP, Usman Baba Alkali.
