In a recent development, the Nigeria Police have arrested Samson Olamilekan Balogun Eletu, popularly known as Sam Larry, an associate of controversial singer Naira Marley.

The arrest comes after the Lagos State Police Command invited both Naira Marley and Sam Larry for questioning over the death of singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest on his X handle late Thursday night.

“Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation”, he wrote

Remember that last week, Hundeyin had informed that pathologists had concluded the autopsy on the late Mohbad while they await the result.

“Autopsy has been concluded. Awaiting results,” he made known on his very active X account.

The controversy surrounding Mohbad’s death has been a recurring topic of discussion on social media.

Also arrested last week was the nurse who allegedly injected the deceased singer before his demise on Tuesday, September 12.
