Star comedian Josh2funny has gone global after his performance on America’s Got Talent sent shockwaves across the internet.
The 32-year-old comedian, whose real name is Chibuike Joshua Alfred, took to the stage on Tuesday night with his signature brand of fast-paced comedy, which had the judges and audience in stitches.
Josh2funny’s performance quickly went viral, with his video racking up millions of views on social media. He has since been praised by celebrities and fans alike, with many calling him a “star in the making.”
In the recently shared video, the Nigerian comedian humorously portrayed himself as the “Fastest Rapper in the World,” the “Fastest Reader in the World,” and even added a sprinkle of being the “Best Magician in the World.”
One of the judges on America’s Got Talent, Simon Cowel, was particularly impressed by Josh2funny’s performance. He said, “You are a star. You are a diamond in the rough. You are the future of comedy.”
The other three judges, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel and Sofia Vergara were not too impressed.
Josh2funny’s performance has also been met with mixed reactions from Nigerians. Some have praised him for putting Nigeria on the map, while others have criticized his act as being “unimpressive”.
Controversial Twitter commentator, Daniel Regha said: “Nigerians will applaud anything as long as a Nigerian is getting the hype, & it’s beyond shamefu!. Josh misused the America’s Got Talent platform by wasting everyone’s time, which isn’t funny. Thousands audition each year but only a few get selected, so why waste the opportunity?”
Amazingly hilarious!
