My personal experience with Omooba Olumuyiwa Sosanya is a rare privilege that I will never take for granted. It afforded me the opportunity to truly know this fiery yet gentle man.
During a close-up interview with him, alongside Mr. Ibrahim Yusuf of The Nation newspaper a few years ago regarding the creation of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), his profound determination and contributions to the accounting profession became entirely clear.

His bravery and resolve to realise his dreams against all odds are deeply worthy of study.

Through the lens of his remarkable strides with ANAN, one is compelled to describe Omooba Sosanya as extraordinary.

Recognising the dangers posed by a single regulatory board for the accounting profession, he challenged the status quo.

He pushed for an alternative pathway for certified professionals, which ultimately led to the establishment of ANAN as Nigeria’s second accounting regulatory body.

Beyond his professional triumphs, Sosanya stands out as an exemplary figure in both the corporate and political worlds.

Yet, his humility far surpasses his grand accomplishments, making him a massive source of inspiration to us all.I am a proud beneficiary of your values, sir.
