A 46-year-old Nigerian man named Hassan Adeyemo has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder after his wife, Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo, was found shot in their home in east Orange County, Florida.

According to the Sheriff’s department, Adeyemo and his Plateau state born wife, Nanchin who have five children together were having an argument in the house when Hassan suddenly pulled out his gun and shot at her.

The police said when they got to the house, Hassan was found at the scene with a gun in his hands while his wife was found on the floor soaked in blood.

She was rushed to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead from her injuries.

Hassan was immediately arrested to face a charge of first degree murder with a firearm.

The Sheriff’s Office didn’t give any further details on the killing other than say that it was “domestic in nature.”
