Windham Rotunda, better known to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fans as Bray Wyatt, has died at the age of 36. The news was confirmed by WWE Chief Content Officer, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque on social media.
“With a heavy heart, I must inform you that my friend and colleague Windham Rotunda, aka Bray Wyatt, passed away unexpectedly today. We received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda, who informed us about the tragic loss ” Levesque wrote.
“Windham was a beloved member of our WWE family and an incredible talent,” he continued. “We are all shocked and saddened by his passing, and we extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends. We kindly request everyone to honor their privacy,” he said.
Wyatt was a unique and charismatic performer who had a major impact on WWE. He won multiple championships, including the WWE Championship, the Universal Championship, and the WWE Tag Team Championship. He was also a two-time Money in the Bank winner.
Wyatt was known for his dark and twisted persona, which he used to great effect in the ring. He was also a master of storytelling, and his matches were often works of art.

The cause of Wyatt’s death has not been released. He had been away from WWE television since February 2023.
Wyatt is survived by his wife, JoJo Offerman, a former WWE ring announcer, and their two children.
