Operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency have re-sealed the 10POT Night Club at 2A Admiralty Way in Lekki after the arrest of 11 employees who assaulted LASEPA officials.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson for the state’s Ministry of the Environment, Kunle Adeshina, via his X handle on Sunday.
Adeshina added that the 11 arrested employees who assaulted LASEPA officials have been taken into custody pending arraignment before a competent court of law.
11 employees, comprising four males and seven women, of 10POTS Night Club were arrested after brutalising the state officials who had earlier sealed the premises for environmental infractions.
Attempts to re-seal the premises were violently resisted by the employees, inflicting bodily harm on state officials.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Sunday, also vowed to prosecute all 11 employees of 10POTS Night Club in Lekki who assaulted officials of LASEPA.
