Facebook and Instagram are now back after a worldwide outage that affected users.

Earlier, the popular blogging sites appeared to experience global technical issues on Tuesday, with millions of users complaining about logging errors while accessing the social media platforms.

According to Downdetector.com, the disruptions began around 5pm (West African time) long ago, with more than 1,000,000 reports of outages for Facebook and about 100,000 reports for Instagram.
