Top trend in Nigeria Tweeter space on Tuesday morning was Chef Dammy. This was so because the Chef whose real name is Damilola Adeparusi had surpassed the 100 hours cooking record of Akwa-Ibom state born Chef, Hilda Baci.

Chef Dammy who is cooking in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti state, as at 9am on Tuesday morning had cooked for 104 hours and still counting as at the time of going to press.

In an Instagram video posted by Spirit Word Global Mission, Chef Dammy was seen still cooking when she crossed the 100-hour mark.

Chef Dammy’s effort in the cooking race which began on June 9th has been laced with controversy; with many condemning her cooking race which they said is a betrayal to Chef Hilda Baci’s efforts which has not even been confirmed yet by the Guinness World Records.

However, Chef Dammy, not deterred has also received accolades from people both far and wide. On Saturday, the wife of the Ekiti state Governor, Olayemi Oyebanji celebrated her efforts; just as many in diaspora pledged unreserved support for her.
